Our daycare in Vaughan's curriculum incorporates all the components of Ontario’s Ministry of Education. Therefore, from an academic perspective, your child will be fully prepared for entry into the school system.
We find great inspirations from the following Ministry documents:
From that vast experience, We have developed these primary educational objectives for our children.
There will be two progress reports with parents with parent meetings to follow through on your child’s program. Our daycare in Vaughan offers a seamless day for your child and a worry-free day for you. Your child will receive:
Everything that you do with your child can be used as a real learning opportunity. Make the time you spend together as fun and exciting as possible. If they enjoy themselves then they will want to carry on learning!
We are a licensed daycare that operates as a bilingual nursery. We provide services in both French and English, making it a unique offering in Vaughan. The centre caters to children from 18 months up to 4-and-a-half years old and offers high-quality childcare services. With operating hours from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday.
We provide a warm and friendly environment, where all children are encouraged to achieve their full potential and where childcare is fun, relaxed and positive. We are dedicated to bringing playing and education together in a perfect balance.
Our daycare in Vaughan is a cutting-edge solution that functions as a virtual parent, promoting the growth of children's skills during the day. It is not a babysitting service. The children are continuously challenged and encouraged to learn new skills and to further develop existing ones.
To achieve this we have designed the activities keeping in mind the need for a solid foundation at an early age. The activities and curriculum have a specific focus on:
As a licensed daycare and early childhood centre, our daily program starts at 8:30 am but the doors open at 7:00 am. We greet your child at the entrance and escort them to their classroom. If you have any messages or concerns about your child, please inform the supervisor.
Once you have picked up your child at the end of the day, please be advised that your child’s well-being is now your responsibility.
Children will frequently be captured in photographs while participating in various projects. These photos serve as a means of documentation and to showcase the curriculum. By signing this agreement, you give us permission to use photographs or video footage of your child for the purpose of documentation. These photos and other types of documentation may be shared with parents to give them an insight into the child's project progress or to preserve special moments from the child's exploration journey.
Parents’ involvement and participation are essential to our program. As partners in the education of your child, we feel that it is crucial for parents and daycare staff to communicate and we encourage you to take part in all aspects of the program. There are countless ways to get involved in your child's education, such as sharing special activities and events, organizing social evenings or day events, and even helping with daycare trips. We also hold family meetings that give parents the opportunity to join in on projects that may require building or collecting materials. The more resources that our daycare can draw from, the richer the experience and the environment will be. Please feel free to bring in recycled materials. Your communication is valued and is a valuable tool in the daycare experience.
Activity and admission fees may be charged during the year as necessary. This will help to offset the cost of special outings or trips.
We request parental permission for the children for any field trips. Any excursions that require special equipment or transportation will be posted in advance and a parent signature will be required for the child to participate.
We at Les Fanfans find it important to follow specific Rules and Regulations in order to maintain our highest level of childcare quality.
